We were looking to downsize from our 5 bedroom family home to a 3 bedroom home.
As we were future planning our retirement, we also wanted a flat section. We looked around for existing homes, but nothing was suitable, and new build was not in our minds as we heard many horror stories of new builds.
One day while driving around Riverhead development, we went into a brand new open home which was for sale, the finishing of this property was immaculate, both inside and outside, and of course it was Generation Homes build.
So we popped over to their office to just to gather some information.
There we met Suanne Jackson, Sales Consultant, who was busy with other clients, but took a bit of her time out, had a brief chat and made an appointment for us to meet again.
After this meeting we started to think about new build. It was Suanne who convinced us and gave confidence that it can be done, and within the budget we were looking at. This surprised us.
Suanne, made our job easier by showing her own property that was being constructed by Generation Homes, this gave us more confidence. She gave us personal service and listened to all our requirements.
Generation Homes offer many designs that would suit any budget, and we chose one that suited our requirement. Suanne also helped us a lot in choosing suitable site for our build.
Once the deal was signed, Generation Homes started the building process. We were given frequent updates on the progress of the build.
We were also one of lucky winners of the competition being run and won a big Webber.
During the building process, there was a Covid lockdown, product delays, price increase of general building materials etc., however nothing stopped Generation homes to handover our house to us on the date promised and at the contract fixed price and we thought this was amazing.
Suanne gave us a lot of genuine impartial advice , answered all our questions , would take calls always and kept us in loop all throughout the process, and she was there for us from the start to the finish.
Dealings from Generation Homes is very genuine, one can rely on them, and we would recommend anyone wanting a new build to check them out.
We have moved into our new home, and are very happy, waiting for summer to enjoy the outdoor space.

Savita and Rabendra built the Milldale Show Home (Wainiu) plan with a change from Monopitch roof to a Gable end Traditional Roofline so they could include Ducted Air Conditioning and Attic Storage into the roof space.
