When first home buyers Jen and Dave met our sales consultant Suanne Jackson at the Generation Homes show home in the brand new subdivision of Milldale near Silverdale, Auckland, they didn’t really think building a new home could be a reality.
After talking to Suanne, the reassurance of a guaranteed fixed price build plus a guaranteed move-in date gave them the comfort to proceed. Jen and Dave decided on a section, chose a house plan that suited their family requirements and the process was underway.
The excavation began at the end of July 2019 and the slab was down mid-August. The delighted couple moved in on the 6th of December 2019 - exactly 16 weeks after the slab went down as promised!
This beautiful home featured a contemporary designed mono-pitched roof, with oblique vertical cladding and included a paint brick feature wall for additional interest.
Everything was done and ready for this young family to move in and enjoy from handover - the property was fenced, landscaping completed, lawn sown, washing line erected and the blinds installed. They just needed to unpack and enjoy their first Christmas together in their brand new Generation home.

We first enquired with Generation Homes about a house and land package without really thinking it could become a reality.
From the first meeting with Suanne Jackson we knew we were in good hands, and once we signed the paperwork and had financial approval, it was all go.
We moved into our home on 6 December, exactly four months after the concrete slab went down and we couldn't be more pleased - everything is well-finished, built as per the plans and variations, and it's gorgeous.
We couldn't recommend Generation Homes highly enough - they deliver what they promise!
